During an internship, schools need to decide how interns will be placed in classrooms.
Interns may stay with one mentor teacher for an extended period, move between teachers or grades at planned points during the year, or experience a combination of both.
Before deciding on a classroom placement model, consider the following:

How will your placement approach support continuity and feedback?
Consider whether interns will have enough continuity with a mentor teacher or grade, as well as regular opportunities for feedback, reflection and growth.

How will this approach work practically in your school context?
Consider timetables, class movement, mentor teacher availability, phase needs, and how much change interns and teachers can manage realistically.
